Many people think of the Volendam costume when they think of Holland. In fact, the costume is only worn in the one village and is not representative of the Netherlands as a whole but easily recognizable. This pattern represents the most popular Dutch boy version of the costume. It is c. 1905 and c.1940 – 1950.
